Korean Song AdLib

Filed under: Uncategorized — Catherine Lorin @ 3:58 am

The korean song Nobody by Wondergirls has got a perfect rhythm and rhyme that people  have actually created  their very own version.

From the original “I have nobody, nobody, but you…” Here comes:

“I want your body, your body, not you..”
“I want your money, your money, not you..”

I have no money, no money, but you…”

Reminds me of the of the Meteor Garden Bisaya Remake :)

Sometimes, Filipino creativity can be too much to handle.

CLINDAMYCIN Side Effects

Filed under: Antibiotics,Clidamycin,Dalacin-C — Catherine Lorin @ 8:37 am

11 days ago I started to feel discomfort in my tooth, until the discomfort got serious and my tooth got too infected. I settled for the usual pain relievers, Ponstan 500, Alaxan FR, and other generic mefenamic acid as I thought the pain was just temporary. I was not allowed to take antibiotics until 4 days after so I took pain relievers every 2 hours or as often as I felt pain. I took antibiotics soon as I was allowed, but the pain did not go away, so I decided to visit the dentist for a prescription. He gave me Dalacin-C (Clindamycin) for antibiotics for the reason that the inflamation was severe that any generic antibiotics would not cure the infection. The antibiotics costs 70 pesos each, 3x a day for eight days, as in OUCH! I did not follow doctor’s order though and took only a capsule a day for the past three days.

I started to feel like something was clogged in my throat, then this morning I felt the clog went down to my chest. I felt relaxed, was not so alarmed at all until i checked WebMD, the conditions of the symptoms I specified ranges from spasm of the esophagus, to lymphoma, to cardiac arrest! Thirty minutes later I was in the clinic of my physician. The culprit? Dalacin-C.

Clindamycin is an antibiotic that is used to treat and prevent infections caused by certain types of bacteria.

The following side effects may go away as your body becomes used to the medicine; check with your doctor if they continue or become bothersome.

More common

* diarrhea (mild)
* nausea and vomiting
* stomach pain

Less common
* itching of rectal or genital areas

Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

More common

* abdominal or stomach cramps and pain (severe)
* abdominal tenderness
* diarrhea (watery and severe; may also be bloody)
* fever

Less common
* sore throat and fever
* skin rash, redness, and itching
* unusual bleeding or bruising

Some people may experience side effects other than those listed. Check with your doctor if you notice any symptom that worries you while you are taking this medication.

I took the antibiotics without knowing about this. Dentists may not be aware of this too. Please click here for more info about this drug.

My physician gave me Domperidone to relax my esophagus. I’m so relieved knowing that I’m not yet dying!

By the way, my physician cleared that Dalacin-C is a very good drug to treat infections, just that, there are certain reactions that this drug might cause for those who are sensitive and have allergies.

Korean Music Sensation – Nobody Nobody!

Filed under: Korean Music,Nobody Nobody — Catherine Lorin @ 6:40 am

I recall from two months ago when I first saw this video, I was again captured by the rythm and the so korean magic that until this very moment I can’t explain. Aside from being a die-hard fan of Koreanovelas, I never thought that Korean music too could have gotten me like this! The video was just so cute, especially the dance steps! I like the way they made the video, truly one perfect hit in the making!

Since I was so taken by the music alone, I honestly admit that I didn’t bother to decode the song’s meaning. Will give it a shot some time, I promise I’ll ponder on it. For the english version, please click HERE

The diving experience was fun, and so was the snorkeling! This could have been more fun if we maximized the photo taking down there. So far and unfortunately, i only have one decent photo. A tip for the ladies: make sure to clip and fix all the hair before you descend, because the hair is the bad omen! Take it from me, i had 6 shots all in all, and out of 6 only 1 appeared acceptable.

SMS-based Raffle in the Philippines

Filed under: Uncategorized — Catherine Lorin @ 3:03 pm

Let me tell you something really interesting… here in the Philippines, there is an ongoing SMS-based raffle that doesn’t require buying raffle tickets! Yes, this project is “undertaken to support the efforts of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) to plug leakages in the tax collection system in the country”. All it takes is an official receipt of any purchases! Cool isn’t it? Nowadays where most of us are confronted on how to take care of our financials, it is only logical if we give something like this a shot! To learn more about this, please visit Premyo Sa Resibo

I am just a new fan, so i was thinking it is better to refer you all to the site for you all to be better convinced.
